GOOD PRACTICES
Eight examples of good practice within the sugar industry (or the agro-food industry) have been listed. Each of these examples – with all their differences and variety – illustrates one type of response to the question of employability according to the different approaches taken at national level and at individual company level. Each of them makes its own specific input into the overall thinking under way about employability. Since they constitute a dynamic element in this thought process, they will be updated on a regular basis and should be regarded as a source of inspiration and an exchange of best practice.
Similarly, five examples from outside of the sector have been analysed, each one adding to the thinking under way and making a specific contribution. Without intending to be exhaustive, we hope to suggest some ways forward in this dynamic and evolving process.
